Made the mistake of stopping here as we drove home from Oregon to California. I ordered the day's special of tacos (posted on the sign out front) and the server/manager told me he didn't have time to pick up the stuff so they weren't serving them. So... what the ___ is the sign doing up out front saying they're your special??!
I went with the Chef's salad instead. Oops. When I commented about no hard-boiled egg he again said he doesn't waste his time hard boiling eggs at that altitude. Was he being serious? They need to rename the salad! A Chef's salad is served with egg.
Husband's over-easy eggs were over-cooked, but biscuits and gravy weren't terrible.
Overall, would NOT be back for the apathetic service and was really disappointed with the food.
[Note: their name changed 4 years ago, but the manager said it would cost $10,000 to remove the Wheel Café P sign so he's left it up for now. KJs is the correct name.]
