Oh, your employees get to come in and work on Thanksgiving? Well isn't that nice of you, Michaels. I hope the deals are just amazzzzzing and you get lots of business. (Just kidding, I hope that NOBODY supports your horrible holiday business practice.)
Aside from that, this is a good store to find all your arts and crafts needs. Want to make a turkey outfit for the Walnut Creek Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning? You can get beads, feathers, shirts and puffy fabric paint pens. Get creative!
They also have lots of great coupon deals which you can easily pull up on your phone while waiting in line. Or the helpful employees will talk you through this if you need help like I do. I received friendly assistance from our cashier, Deidra, when I couldn't figure it out on my own. We were able to use TWO coupons with our small purchase and ended up saving a good deal of money. The employees here always seem to be happy to help you find something or suggest a good idea.
But don't all of these already good deals sort of negate the idea of "better deals" on Thanksgiving?! Come on, give your employees a break and shut your doors for family! Youre a craft store - people can wait a day to get their glitter glue.
