I had to reload my husband's wallet after our first night at Reno's Peppermill casino (we're not big spenders on the slots, just forgot to pack cash!) and needed to find an ATM. I woke up early on Saturday morning, went to the hotel's fitness center, then decided to venture out and run errands. My husband was still asleep in bed and our friend was asleep in the bed next to him, so I was on my own. Unfortunately, I get lost pretty easily if I'm driving around alone, even with my GPS, so I was super excited that this stand-alone ATM was easy to find (only got a little lost on the way) and that there was no line.
I parked next to the machine and even though it was daytime, I noticed that this ATM was in an open area in the middle of the parking lot with lightposts around it, probably making it very easily visible at nighttime, and making it as safe as possible.
Unfortunately, the ATM was out-of-service but it had a list of other nearby locations on the screen. Another car pulled up and pointed me in the right direction of the next closest branch (also conveniently located on Virginia Street, in a strip mall with CVS).
