As guests of the Westin Hotel, we had our parking covered so we didn't have to deal with the small parking lot that seems to frustrate other park-goers. We walked over to the park before walking along the Bayfront Trail. There are benches for sitting (all along the trail) and we saw lots of people sitting and resting, watching the planes come and go. Tide was out the afternoon that we strolled along the park and then down the path, but it was a very enjoyable walk. We walked quite a long way before turning around, and were blessed by perfect weather and a little bit of wildlife.
Talk a walk if youre in this area! We would have returned on Sunday - the tide had come in and the Bay was full, but it was raining and cold, so we will have to return another time.
