9/4/13
Every business has it's "off" days, so if some people had bad experiences here, perhaps they've improved since then, or it was just not a good day for a car wash.
We had a wonderful experience here. We just wanted all the I-5 bugs off the car, before a 400 mile drive north again to collect new, better, windshield and bumper bugs. We went with the cheap wash (the sign out front lured us, but the cheapest wash is Wednesday only). This being a Saturday, we paid $3-4 dollars more and bought the basic for $12 (I think).
We spent 10 minutes in the massage chairs of the waiting room (the type with leg massage!) $1 for every 5 minutes. Or you can be fooled into paying $5 for 15 minutes (yes, you read that right. Do the math, and put away your $five. Three $ingles should do it!!) It was pretty much the best waiting room I've ever been in. Reluctantly we got out of the chairs and went to check on the car outside.
The truck was open. And so were the doors. They totally cleaned up the inside. They even organized the goodies they found (nail polish, a can of veggies, socks and sunglasses.) It was soooo nice! They dusted the dash and dried all the rims of the trunk and doors. This guys tip kept going up and up as we watched him. We were shocked. It was an awesome job at an awesome price.
Happy birthday car wash for my husband. I wish we had a place this great up in the Bay Area - especially since we had some happy birthday rainstorms on the drive home later that day! :)
