"Snitches get stitches."

Yes, I know the saying. No, it's not true. I've never had stitches... and I LOVE tattling on the solicitors that come into our building, breaking the rules by trying to sell baseball game packages, or free chiropractic visits. No solicitors allowed.

Don't get me wrong; I'm polite. I humor them and take their info., but before the door has even shut I'm already mid-email to the building management, reporting their violation!  :)~  It breaks up the monotony of the work day to have a little fun. Probably breaks up the monotony of their work day too, being escorted out of places.

However, if the solicitor is two pretty girls holding boxes of cupcakes, I'm definitely going not going to say a word (or send an email). It was a beautiful moment: two girls, one box.

A dozen free cupcakes showed up in our office! I happen to hate cupcakes (bet you didn't see that coming?) but I tried a quarter of the chocolate one and it was good. There were three flavors and I'm glad I picked one that was rich without being too sweet. I'm not big on sweets. Thanks Jessica and Marie, for introducing your homemade-ish baked goods. I'll bet they make an appearance at a future office party now that you've made such a good first impression!
