While staying at the Castle Inn & Suties (a really great place to stay if you plan to visit Disneyland) we were happily surprised that there was a gift shop in the parking lot. It had more than just t-shirts and shot glasses. There was chocolate milk, which we bought to put in our in-room coffee ($2.50) and other food and drink like Hot Soup packets and ice cream. Poor husband was a little uncomfortable after running around Disneyland in the heat all day so we also bought some Desitin ($8.96). Problem solved.
The gift shop is directly across from the registration lobby, where a cool body of armor stands in wait of the tourists (great photo op). It's worth checking this out, even if you aren't staying here. The Inn's lobby also has a penny pressing machine, which we happily fed $0.51 cents into. Other stores are nearby but if youre walking to Disney and want to stop in for some last minute sun screen or a hat, this is very convenient!
