I realized most of my reviews center on restaurants and places to visit and realized that there is another entirely different genre of people in my life that deserve praise - and this includes the professional services I subscribe to, and the people who work for these companies.
Just as with a restaurant where you may only encounter one or two staff people, sometimes professional offices can be the same way. Those people are very important to your overall perception of the business. If you find yourself at MassMutual and your'e lucky, you'll get Todd Friedman on your financial team. Todd works to communicate with you about the needs you may presently have, or future ones you haven't even considered yet. He teaches complimentary financial workshops and never pressures you to make decisions regarding your finances. He's informative without being pushy.
I receive semi-regular emails about upcoming events and topics that may be of interest to me. He even announces fundraisers that he's participating in, the most recent to benefit animals. Love!
He takes the time to talk about current events and news, and is open to discuss how these things may personally affect you. Mass Mutual can assist with investments, 401k rollovers, annuities, and insurances such as disability, long term care and life insurance. Todd is happy to sit and explain benefits he sees for individuals and families. I honestly feel like he's more of a caring person than a sales person. Perhaps that's because of the intelligent and low-pressure atmosphere he creates when speaking with you. Call MassMutual and ask about topics for Todd's upcoming social events and mixers. They're informative and fun!
Note: I realized TODAY, that MassMutual has an office in our building as well (formerly Hartford) - I always see their employee Helen in the office and she's very friendly and sweet, but I haven't done any work with her :)
