This Vista point should not be confused with a"scenic view" stop. While the aqueduct itself is pretty cool, nothing else about this I-5 turnout for NB travelers is positive. The slope along the waterway is littered with all kinds of junk and trash. At least three garbage cans are available for people who pull off the road, but most of it is probably accumulated from jerks just rolling down their windows, with apathetic fingers crossed that no chp are around to see them violate the "no littering" laws. Perhaps a bigger fine would be a bigger deterrent, but I doubt it. Still, it's a safe place to pull over and stretch your legs.
